Jasper Stone Mantels
Bare's introduces the"world's oldest" fireplace mantels. Made 
from Jasper stone, a rare rose-colored quartzite found only in one
small Minnesota quarry, which has been in Kathi Bare's family for four generations. This is the first time it's ever been offered as a decorative stone. Very tough, hard, and close-grained, this quartzite has metamorphosed over the last billion-plus years.
