The World's Oldest Mantels!
Bare's introduces the "world's oldest" fireplace mantels. Made from Jasper stone, this rare rose-colored quartzite is found only in one small Minnesota quarry, which has been in Kathi Bare's family for four generations. This is the first time it's ever been offered as a decorative stone. Very tough, hard, and close-grained, this quartzite has metamorphosed over the last billion-plus years.

Purchase a made-to-order mantel or polished stones for the Lopi Berkshire Fyrstone stove, or custom hitching posts, benches, and signs, all shipped direct from the quarry.
